My name is Rasheed and I have the greatest love for food. I started out my journey at Virginia State where I took up Hospitality Management. Shortly after I moved back home and I enrolled in OIC for their Culinary program.
After graduation I was provided an internship at Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. I worked there for about a year before I moved on to work at Harrah's Casino in the room service department, where I was awarded many times for "best of room service".
My last stop on the casino line was at Sands Casino where I worked until they closed their doors in 2006. I then started my catering company Chef Sheed's Catering, and with the edition of "Love" my bbq trailer in 2013 became Chef Sheed's Catering & BBQ. My love so in for food has never faded, so in 2020 I opened Chef Sheed's BBQ Shack.
I take great pride in preparing food for people whether it's 10 or 100. Nothing brings me greater joy than someone telling me how great my food is. That's what the BBQ Shack is. My love of preparing food that makes the soul happy!
